Chicago
Tony Award-winning
revival of the 1975 John Kander, Fred Ebb and Bob Fosse musical comedy
about sex, cynicism and "show biz". In 1929 Chicago, an
era of crooked officials and tabloid scandals soaked in bathtub gin,
a former would-be chorus girl turned accused murderess schemes to
parlay her sudden notoriety into -- at last -- vaudeville celebrity.
Popular numbers include "All That Jazz", "Razzle Dazzle",
"My Own Best Friend", "Cellblock Tango" and "Mr.
Cellophane".
